Land record management information system

LRMIS is a system which is used to store the details of land parcels and land owners in a country and compute their land tax, yearly based on the land details entered. Yearly invoices will be generated and payments against these invoices can be tracked through the system. Different type of reports can also be generated for the data stored in the system.

Registration Process:
Initially all data entered is considered as partial until the land owner verifies the details personally. All Land owner details and their land parcel details are entered in the system. Data can be entered in the system manually by a user or through excel import. We can also keep track of pending house from a neighbourhood that are yet to be registered in the system.

Billing Process:
After the registration process, land owners are invoiced for the financial year based on the partial data we enter. These invoices are then sent across to all the land owners. The land owner comes to the district office and verifies and updates any details if needed and then makes a payment for the invoice. The land owner and the land parcels are then approved in the system and considered as real data.
An invoice can be generated individually for the land owner or batches can be created to generate bulk invoices at one time for a particular district. The batch creation process has 4 steps.
Step 1: Creation of batches consisting of land parcels filtered by neighbourhood.
Step 2: Approval of batches by a supervisor.
Step 3: Bulk generation of the invoices.
Step 4: Bulk printing of the invoices.

We have two sections under this.
Debtor invoices which show us all the invoices that are paid and the invoices that is yet to be paid. Payments for the invoices can be made in this section.
Debtor Payments which show us all the invoices that have been paid along with the payment receipt.

Location is a master table in the system which has to be entered before deploying the system. The hierarchy of locations is Regions > Districts > Section > Sector > Neighbourhood.
User Control:
These are the users who will be using the system to do different processes and operations. Users can be created/edited/deleted by an administrator. These users will have different roles and permissions which will enable them to access the areas which are meant for them. Different roles can be created by the administrator and each role can be assigned different permissions.

The dashboard gives a bird’s eye view of the entire system.
Different reports can be generated for payments, invoices, collections, registered land owners, zone wise statements. These reports can be exported to excel as well.
